Bhubaneswar-Puri NH 316 to be 6-lane
Bhubaneswar (10/08/2024): The Bhubaneswar-Puri NH 316 will be upgraded to a 6-lane road. The Barbil-Chandikhol road will also be 6-lane. The 6-lane road will have 2-lane service roads on both sides. The Odisha government has informed about approval of the proposal. In a letter to the National Highway Authority of India (NHAI) Regional Officer, the State Works department has asked the concerned department to prepare a Detail Project Report (DPR) of the above projects.
The officials have been asked to make a presentation before the Odisha Chief Secretary for finalization of the alignment and controlled access locations .
