Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty to receive prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award

Bhubaneswar (30/09/2024): Bollywood actor Mithun Chakraborty will receive the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Award for his outstanding contribution to Indian cinema.

This was announced by Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw, and the award will be presented at the 70th National Film Awards ceremony on October 8. The Dadasaheb Phalke Award is India's highest award in cinema, presented annually to recognize individuals for their exceptional contributions to the growth and development of Indian cinema. Mithun Chakraborty, a veteran actor, is being honoured for his remarkable work in the film industry.
