Possibility of cyclone over Bay of Bengal

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): A cyclone is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal.
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has forecast the formation of a cyclonic circulation on November 21, low-pressure area on November 22 and depression on November 24.
The system may further intensify over the next three days. 

However, the IMD has not issued any official information regarding a cyclone yet.

Meanwhile, weather scientist Surendranath Pashupalak said that the cyclone may move towards the Andhra Pradesh coast. Under its influence, Odisha may experience moderate to heavy rainfall on the 27th, 28th, and 29th of this month. 

Winter chill is expected to disapper from most parts of the state this week. Cold weather conditions are likely to prevail in the state from December first week.
