Balasore Lok Mahotsav Concludes After a 10-Day Celebration: Pragnya Hota and Chiragdeep Panda Perform on Final Evening
Balasore, 29/11 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): The Balasore Lok Mahotsav came to a close yesterday evening, marking the end of its 10-day run at the ITI ground. The concluding ceremony of the tenth evening was chaired by Asit Kumar Das.
The chief guests included Sudhakar Nayak, Additional District Magistrate (General) of Balasore; SBI Chief Manager Satyases Patnaik; BBCIC Bank President Ganesh Mohapatra; youth leader and committee advisor Manas Das Patnaik; Shantanu Das; and Committee President Biswajit Paramnik, who were all present on the dais.
Executive President Sriman Srichandan welcomed the gathering, while Vice President Bikash Padhi, General Secretary Sanjay Samant, Satyaprakash Pati, Tapas Panigrahi, Rajesh Mahakud, Saubhagya Manas Nayak, Sambit Biswal, and Soumya Ranjan Panigrahi were also present on stage. Treasurer Nisit Barik offered the vote of thanks.
The festival, which began on November 19, concluded on a vibrant note. As per earlier announcements, the organising committee awarded cash prizes of Rs 5,000 each to three Durga Puja committees of Balasore. After the felicitation, singers Pragnya Hota and Chiragdeep Panda performed to much appreciation.
Traders who had set up stalls from various parts of the state expressed satisfaction over the business they received during the Mahotsav.
The committee stated that the event concluded successfully with the support and cooperation of everyone involved, including Jhadeswar Jena, Seeman Das Mohapatra, Jagannath Panigrahi, Silab Satyakam, Samyaranjan Yadav, Gour Mallik, Hritik Nayak, Jitendra Mahalik, Niranjan Mohanty, and Anupam Mishra.
