Low pressure area likely to form over Bay of around November 22

Bhubaneswar (By Abhishek Mohanty): A low-pressure area is likely to form over the southeast Bay of Bengal around November 22.

After formation, it is expected to move in a west-northwest direction and gradually intensify.

By the evening of November 24, a depression is likely to develop over the central parts of the south Bay of Bengal.

During the next 48 hours, the system is expected to maintain the same direction of movement.

Further intensification is likely over the southwest Bay of Bengal.
