Sahidnagar gang rape case placed under Red Flag category

The gang rape case reported from Sahidnagar area in Bhubaneswar has been brought under the Red Flag category. The Odisha Crime Branch will extend assistance to the Commissionerate Police in the investigation.
The probe will be conducted under the direct supervision of the Director General of the Crime Branch to ensure close monitoring and timely action. So far, two accused have been arrested in connection with the case.
According to preliminary reports, the incident took place two days ago when the accused allegedly lured a minor girl to a rented house on the pretext of providing her with employment and committed the offence.
