Senior IPS officer Soumendra Priyadarshi assigned responsibility for Rath Yatra

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): Senior IPS officer Soumendra Priyadarshi has been entrusted with overseeing the upcoming Rath Yatra in Puri.

According to police headquarters sources, he has been given this responsibility to ensure the festival proceeds in a disciplined and orderly manner.

Soumendra will supervise law and order, traffic management, and arrangements both inside and outside the temple during the event.
