Shopkeepers allowed to use wood stoves amid gas shortage: Mayor

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): In view of the ongoing gas shortage, shopkeepers will be allowed to use wood stoves and coal, said Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation Mayor Sulochana Das on Saturday.

The Mayor stated that the Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation has temporarily relaxed the rules considering the prevailing gas crisis.

She added that the decision is temporary and the rules will be restored once the situation returns to normal.

Strict action will be taken against black marketing of gas cylinders, she warned.
