Palasapur Premier League Season-4 Inaugurated
The Palasapur Premier League was inaugurated at the ground near the Government High School in Balasore Sadar Block. The inauguration ceremony was presided over by former Sarpanch Birupakshya Mahapatra, while Remuna MLA and Government Deputy Chief Whip Gobind Chandra Das was the chief guest.
Other dignitaries present included local Sarpanch Manjulata Acharya, sarapanch Pushpashree Rout, Handicapped national player Sudhakar Sethi, Bhagabat Behera, Pitambar Mahapatra, Achyuta Mahanti, Abhyudayam's chief Sabyasachi Pradhan, and Prasanna Kumar Parida, who encouraged the players.
A total of 17 matches will be played in the tournament, said organizers. The inaugural match featured Storm Breakers vs. RR Official and Palasapur Eleven vs. Vishal Warriors.
Umpires: Janmejay Parida and Madhusudan Parida; Scorers: Rashmiranjan Jena and Ratiranjan Acharya; Commentator: Trilochan Behera; Pitch Curators: Shubhranshu Rout and Siddharth Saurabh Mahanti; Youth social workers: Shaktiprosad Rout, Dibyajyoti Rout, Muktikanta Pal, Sai Om Sahu, Abhijit Acharya, and others assisted.
