Help Centre Inaugurated for Matric Examinees and Parents by Alumni Association

Balasore, Feb 20 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): The Alumni Association of Soun Anchalika High School, a leading social organisation, has inaugurated a Help Centre for students appearing for the ongoing matriculation examination and their parents. The centre was formally opened by the President of the Association, Shri Jaladhar Samal, at the premises of Shri Jagannath Temple, Badakia, under Sadar Block.

According to Secretary Sudhakar Sethi, the Help Centre will remain operational on all examination days from February 19 to March 2. The Association has made arrangements for seating and rest facilities for parents within the temple premises, along with provision of safe drinking water, first aid support, and necessary examination materials for students.

An inaugural meeting was held under the chairmanship of Shri Samal. On this occasion, members observed a two-minute silence in memory of the late Shri Bhaskar Chandra Barik, founder member of Brundabati Government High School and a well-wisher of the Association.

Young advocate Prashant Kumar Samal appreciated the initiative and proposed organising awareness camps for examinees in the coming days.
Among others who addressed the gathering were Assistant Secretary Nabakumar Nayak, Satyabrata S., Ramachandra Mohanty, parent Bijay Kumar Das, Thakur Charan Padhi of the Jagannath Smruti Mandap Committee, Saroj Kumar Behera, and Dr. Manoj Kumar Barik.

The programme was coordinated by youth organisers Rashmiranjan Jena, Sabitrirani Das, Jayashree Rout, Rahul Kumar Barik, Lucky Samal, Bishwaranjan Samal, and Bhavesh Kumar Mohanty.

Special arrangements were also made for monitoring traffic congestion and vehicle movement through drone surveillance before the examinations to ensure smooth and timely access to the examination centre. This initiative was executed by youth organiser and 'Abhyudayam' chief Sabyasachi Pradhan along with Shubhranshu Kumar Rout.
Parents including Himanshu Parida, Ranjan Nayak, Umakanta Gochhayat, Shantanu Kumar Panigrahi, and Sudhakar Rout were present and took part in the discussions.

The programme concluded with a vote of thanks proposed by Manmath Kumar Barik, the convenor of the event.
