Iran–Israel conflict may trigger hotter summer in India
Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): The ongoing hostilities between Iran and Israel could influence weather conditions in India, meteorologists have indicated.
Speaking in Bhubaneswar, weather scientist Sarat Chandra Sahu said that extensive missile use during the conflict may have atmospheric consequences. He explained that prevailing wind currents from the Iran region typically move toward India, which could affect regional climate patterns.
He cautioned that residents of Odisha are likely to witness above-normal temperatures this year.
From March to May, heat levels may remain higher than seasonal averages, resulting in a hotter summer, he added.
