Medical facilities fully prepared for heatwave

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): All hospitals and healthcare centers across Odisha are fully prepared to manage heatwave-related cases.

Special rooms have been set up in every medical college and health center to treat patients affected by extreme heat conditions.

Hospitals will provide dedicated treatment spaces for heatwave patients. 

Health Minister Mukesh Mahaling stated that awareness campaigns are being carried out to educate the public about heatwave precautions.

The Higher Education Department has also issued summer guidelines.

Official notices have been sent to all colleges and universities.

Internal examinations and regular classes will now be held during morning hours to avoid peak heat.

Educational institutions have been instructed to ensure sufficient availability of ORS and safe drinking water for students.
