FRESH LOW PRESSURE LIKELY OVER BAY OF BENGAL IN 48 HOURS

Bhubaneswar(18/09/2023): A fresh low pressure is likely to form over the Bay of Bengal in the next 48 hours. A cyclonic circulation lies over Northwest and adjoining East Central Bay of Bengal Sea in lower and middle tropospheric levels.

Under its influence, a low pressure area is likely to form over northwest Bay of Bengal and neighbourhood during the next 48 hours. Heavy to very heavy rainfall is likely to occur over several parts of Odisha for the next few days.

Rainfall activity is very likely to be continue in the state till September 22.
