Low pressure likely by October 21; Odisha may experience rainfall activities for three days
Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): A cyclonic circulation remains active over the southeast Bay of Bengal.
Under the influence of the cyclonic circulation, a low-pressure area is likely to form by October 21, which may intensify into a depression by October 23.
The system would strengthen further over the south-central Bay of Bengal and continue to move towards the Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh coasts.
Odisha is expected to experience rainfall for three days starting October 24.
This prediction was made amid rising speculation over possible cyclone formation in the month of October.
However, the India Meteorological Department has not made any prediction regarding the possible cyclone.
