Young Author Prabina Kumar Kabi’s Debut English Novel We Became a Poem Released at Ghasipura

Balasore, 15/3(Krushna Kumar Mohanty) : The debut English novel 'We Became a Poem' by young author Prabina Kumar Kabi was released in a vibrant literary atmosphere at the premises of Pranaballav Public School, Ghasipura.

The programme was attended by several distinguished guests who spoke about the literary merits of the book. Dr. Pradeep Kumar Mohanty, retired Professor of English, Niranjan Pati, lecturer and poet, Dr. Ashok Puhan, noted poet, and Sangram Keshari Senapati, Director of 'Shubhapallaba' Publication and publisher of the novel, graced the occasion and shared their views on the theme, narrative style, and artistic value of the work.
In their remarks, the speakers noted that the novel delicately portrays human emotions, silent love, and the subtle complexities of relationships through a poetic and expressive narrative.

Renowned Odia playback singers Satyajeet Jena and Shubhashree Jena attended the event as special guests and formally unveiled the novel along with other dignitaries present on the stage.

Speaking on the occasion, author Prabina Kumar Kabi said that the novel is the outcome of his long-held emotions, experiences, and silent struggles. He added that through this story he has attempted to touch the hearts of readers by presenting the delicate emotions of love, distance, and human relationships.

The programme was conducted by lecturer Priyanka, while senior lecturer Sabita Rani Mishra delivered the vote of thanks.

At the end of the event, the author expressed his gratitude to the educators, literary personalities, and students who attended the programme and contributed to making the occasion successful.
