Tribute to poet madhuri pattnaik
Bhubaneswar, 02/01-Sahitya sanskruti samaroha (SSS)arrenged a condolence meeting on sudden deprature of the vice president SSS and poet late madhuri pattnaik sudden demise. A condolence meeting was held in office of godabarish sahitya sansad under the chairmanship of er. Goura ch. Mahapatra. In this meeting kendra sahitya academy awardee and poet Dr. Phani mahanty as a chiefguest and excutive editor of the common times as a chief speaker.
At the begging two minutes silent was observed by the members of association and the family member of late madhuri pattnaik. pranab chhotray the legendry, lutreture lover and secretary of SSS. Was the anchorer and introduced her family member and guest. Some writer receited some of the poems of late madhuri pattnaik from her recent poetry book Krishnakanta.
In the said meeting sri chhotray announced that one writer of indian languages(out side of the state) will be feliciated in annual sahity utshav of association every year. Writers like by namely sarada nanada, saudamini samantray, santilata devi, puspalata mishra, prassanna ku dash, baratibhusan pattnaik, bijay ku mishra, smruti ranjan patnaik, Hansapriya dash, Rashmiranjan pattnaik, smrutirekha pattnaik, minati Ratha, anusaya barik, dr ramchandra mahanty etc.
