Odisha on high alert after  bomb threats to multiple courts

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): Odisha was placed on high alert on Friday after bomb threats were received by several district courts across the state.

The Sambalpur District Judge Court witnessed heightened security as bomb disposal and dog squads conducted intensive searches of the premises.

In Phulbani, court premises were evacuated following a bomb threat. Entry was restricted and security agencies carried out thorough checks.

The Cuttack District Judge Court received an email threatening to blow up the premises. Authorities immediately evacuated the building and launched a detailed inspection with the bomb disposal squad.

A similar email threat was also reported at the Puri District Court, prompting precautionary security measures.

Officials have advised the public to remain calm while security operations and investigations continue.
