Affordable housing soon in Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty: The Odisha government is set to offer affordable housing options in Bhubaneswar at budget-friendly prices.

Housing & Urban Development Minister Krushna Chandra Mahapatra announced that houses priced between Rs 14 lakh and Rs 50 lakh will be made available to citizens. He said, "As part of a pilot initiative, 90 two-BHK houses have already been constructed. The state government aims to build and provide these homes at minimal cost. In the initial phase, these houses will be allotted to slum dwellers."
The government is working to ensure that more and more common people can benefit from this housing initiative, Mohapatra added.
