CM NAVEEN PATNAIK CONGRATULATES DRDO ON SUCCESSFUL TRAINING LAUNCH OF AGNI-1

Bhubaneswar(08/12/2023): Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has congratulated the Defence Research and Development Organisation on the successful training launch of the Agni-1 Missile.

Taking to X, Naveen wrote “Congratulate @DRDO_India on the successful training launch of the short-range ballistic missile ‘Agni-1’ from the Abdul Kalam Island off #Odisha coast.” India had carried out the successful training launch of the short-range ballistic missile ‘Agni-1’ yesterday from APJ Abdul Kalam Island in Odisha.

The ‘Agni-1’ is a very high precision missile system.

The training launch was carried out under the aegis of the Strategic Forces Command and it successfully validated all operational and technical parameters.
