Fakir Mohan Sahitya Parishad Extends Warm Felicitation to Pattamundai College Students on Educational Tour

Balasore, January 30 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): Students of Pattamundai College, Kendrapada, who arrived on an educational tour, were accorded a warm reception by the Fakir Mohan Sahitya Parishad at Kabitirtha Shantikanan. 

The group comprised 40 students, led by the Head of the Odia Department, Dr Pramod Kumar Swain, along with five faculty members.

The visit was organised to help the students gain deeper insight into the life, literary works, and immense contribution of Fakir Mohan Senapati to Odia literature. 

On the occasion, the Fakir Mohan Sahitya Parishad hosted a felicitation meeting with the participation of noted scholars.
The meeting was presided over by Dr Subas Chandra Patra. 

Former president Dr Harish Chandra Behera and Dr Laxmikanta Tripathy attended as subject experts and presented research-oriented, informative discussions on Fakir Mohan Senapati’s life, short stories, novels, and poetry. The Parishad’s Secretary, Dr Ratnakar Singh, delivered the introductory address and spoke on Fakir Mohan Senapati’s enduring contribution to Odia literature.
On behalf of the Parishad, Dr Pramod Kumar Swain was felicitated with a memento and an uttariya. 

Joint Secretary Rajesh Kumar Giri proposed the vote of thanks. Several eminent citizens of Balasore were present at the programme.
