FEMALE ELEPHANT DIES AFTER BEING HIT BY TRAIN IN KEONJHAR

Keonjhar (25/10/2023): A female elephant died after being hit by a goods train near Jagannathpur village under Bamebari section of Champua Range in Keonjhar district on Wednesday. The elephant was crossing the railway tracks when the incident took place. The animal was about 30 years old. Low visibility due to dense fog might have led to the mishap, forest department personnel Saif .
