Bhubaneswar(By Abhishek Mohanty): In a bid to ease traffic congestion in Bhubaneswar, overbridges will be constructed on busy roads.
Odisha Urban Development Minister, Krushna Chandra Mahapatra announced that discussions have been held with the Works Department (PWD) regarding this. Initially, steps will be taken on Nandan Kanan and Kalpana Road.
The Minister said, "The department is working on preparing a Detailed Project Report (DPR)."
He added that smart cities will be strengthened by the joint efforts of the Centre and State Government. New DPR will be prepared for the Bhubaneswar Metro Rail Project.
