Mechanic dies, two injured in air pressure tank explosion in Khordha

Khordha (09/10/2024): A mechanic died while two others sustained critical injuries in explosion of air pressure tank in a garage at Daleiput Chhak under Sadar police station in Khordha district on Wednesday. The deceased has been identified as Naba Kishore Baral. The mishap took place when Baral was checking the pressure of the tyre of a truck at his garage along the National Highway-16. The intensity of the explosion was so high that Baral’s body parts got shattered into pieces. The injured were immediately rushed to Khordha hospital .
