NUMBER OF NEW VOTERS IN ODISHA INCREASED TO 12.98 LAKH: CEO

Bhubaneswar (05/01/2024): Odisha Chief Electoral Officer(CEO) Nikunja Bihari Dhal on Friday informed that the state has 3.32 crore voters and 12.98 lakh new voters.

In a press conference, the CEO highlighted that the state witnessed a surge in women voters at 1,63,82,031.

The gender ratio has improved to 972.

Dhal said, "Of the 12,97,954 new voters, the number of young voters is 4,76,969.

The names of 7,16,807 voters have been removed from the final electoral roll.".
