ODISHA EOW TEAM QUESTIONS PEOPLE COMING TO RBI OFFICE IN BHUBANESWAR TO EXCHANGE RS 2000 NOTES
Bhubaneswar(01/11/2023): A team of the Economic Offences Wing (EOW) arrived at RBI office in Bhubaneswar to question people standing in queues to exchange Rs 2,000 notes for ‘commission’. The two-member team questioned people standing in long queues since morning hours about the source of the 2,000 currency notes. The deadline to deposit and exchange Rs 2,000 currency notes at banks ended on October 7 .
