PM MODI ANNOUNCES FIRST FLIGHT TEST OF AGNI-5 MISSILE

New Delhi (11/03/2024): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday announced the first test flight of Made-in-India Agni-5 missile. The missile developed by Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) can bring almost entire Asia in striking range. Agni-5 boasts of cutting edge Multiple Independently Targetable Re-entry Vehicle (MIRV) technology. The PM hailed the DRDO for the first flight test of indigenously developed Agni-5 missile successfully test fired from Dr APJ Abdul Kalam Island off the coast of Odisha.
