RAGHUBAR DAS TAKES OATH AS GOVERNOR OF ODISHA

Bhubaneswar(31/10/2023): Raghubar Das took oath of office as the 26th Governor of Odisha on Tuesday. Chief Justice of Orissa High Court administered the oath at Raj Bhawan in Bhubaneswar. The new Governor visited Lord Lingaraj Temple in the morning ahead of the swearing in ceremony which was attended by Odisha Assembly Speaker Pramila Mallik, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik and Chief Secretary Pradeep Kumar Jena.

Das replaced Professor Ganeshi Lal. Former Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das was appointed as the Governor of Odisha by President Droupadi Murmu on October 18 .
