Special pilgrimage train carrying 800 senior citizens from Bhubaneswar departs

Bhubaneswar (17/01/2025): As many as 800 senior citizens departed Bhubaneswar on a special pilgrimage train, destined for the holy town of Shirdi.

Launching the initiative, Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Majhi said, "With blessings from Baba Bholenath and Shirdi Sai, you are embarking on the journey to have the darshan with the help from the Odisha government.

I have directed the government officials to make your journey smooth and memorable.

Special officials and guides have been deployed to make your journey safe, secure and successful." “A special team of doctors have been deployed to take care of your health if anybody falls ill during the journey,” he added. The pilgrimage train initiative aims to provide an accessible and comfortable travel experience for senior citizens wishing to undertake this significant spiritual journey.

The participants are expected to spend time at the famous Sai Baba temple in Shirdi, engaging in prayers and reflection.
