WORKSHOP ON IMPROVEMENT OF VOCATIONAL EDUCATION IN ODISHA ORGANIZED BY INDUS EDUTRAIN PRIVATE LIMITED
Bhubaneswar(06/10/2023): A one-day workshop program was organized at Bhubaneswar Regional Science Center on behalf of "Indus Edutrain Private Limited" for the improvement of vocational education in the state.
A total of 129 vocational trainers of Indus Edutrain Pvt Ltd from several sectors like Beauty & Wellness, Tourism & Hospitality, It&ITes and Apparel participated in the workshop.
Vocational Coordinator Kaushik Utkal Mohanty, Jyot Ranjan Biswal and Sounak Panda played a major role in organizing this programme.
Earlier this programme was organized by OSEPA.
But since COVID, it was postponed.
Now, after return of normalcy, VTP organized this workshop with its own efforts. Sumbul Hasmi,Project Manager of IEPL & Dr.Vivekananda Naik, Change Leader of TATA STRIVES joined as resource person highlighted on Quality Vocational Training & Vertical Mobility.
Similarly, Sagarika Mohapatra, Vikram Naik & Maheshwar Bhanj from State Project Monitoring Unit of OSEPA joined this programme and gave relevant information to vocational trainers to enhance their efficiency for giving quality vocational education at ground level .
They gave many examples on how to make students more skilled.
Trainers from different districts of Odisha joined in this programme and shared their valuable experience with each other.
