15th International Conference of IARA Held at Fakir Mohan University
•Over 170 Researchers Participate with More Than 100 Research Presentations

Balasore, 31/05 (Krushna Kumar Mohanty): The 15th International Conference of the Indian Academic Researchers Association (IARA) was successfully held at Fakir Mohan University, themed "Sustainable Development through Innovation and Technology." The event also included the IARA Convocation Ceremony – 2025, jointly organized by IARA in collaboration with Fakir Mohan University, Balasore.
The conference was formally inaugurated by the Hon’ble Vice Chancellor of Fakir Mohan University, Prof. Santosh Kumar Tripathy, who praised IARA’s initiatives and collaborative efforts in promoting high-quality research. In his address, he emphasized that the conference was particularly beneficial for research scholars, faculty members, and students engaged in academic pursuits.
On this occasion, Dr. C. Paramashivan, Vice-Principal and Research Coordinator of the Postgraduate Commerce Department, Thanthai Periyar Government Arts & Science College, Tiruchirappalli, and National President of IARA, delivered an insightful keynote speech.
Prof. Pranama Dhar, former Head of the Department of Commerce at West Bengal State University and National General Secretary of IARA, shed light on the overall development and challenges in the field of research.
Prof. Supriti Mishra, Dean of the International Management Institute, Bhubaneswar, served as a distinguished speaker and addressed crucial topics such as research quality, ethics in research, enabling academic environments for researchers, equitable sustainable development goals, and the sustainability and governance of resources.
Prof. Bhaskar Behera, Chairman of the Postgraduate Council, was present as the Guest of Honour.
Participating virtually, Prof. Siddhartha Sankar Saha, former Dean and Head of the Department of Commerce, University of Calcutta, West Bengal, shared his reflections on the central theme of the conference.
In a special address, Prof. Ramakanta Mahalik from the Department of Education, Regional Institute of Education (NCERT), Bhubaneswar, discussed the alignment of educational practices with sustainable development goals.
The conference witnessed active participation from eminent national and international scholars and subject matter experts in various academic sessions. More than 100 research papers were presented, with over 170 researchers participating in the three-day event.
The inaugural session featured Prof. Amulya Kumar Acharya, Head of the Education Department and Editor of the Conference, who delivered the opening remarks and introduced the guests.
Dr. Pragati Singh, Assistant Professor in the Department of Education, conducted the proceedings of the event.
