Book based on journey of women changemaker Ranjeeta Priyadarsini launched by Bollywood film producer Arbaaz Khan
Bhubaneswar (28/10/2024): The book titled "Sabeitanik Masik Dharm Abakash" based on the journey of women changemaker Ranjeeta Priyadarshini written by Pradeep Kumar Singh and published by Evincepub Publishing got its official launch on October 29, 2024 at Mumbai by Bollywood film actor and producer Arbaaz Khan. Ranjita Priyadarshini is a PhD.research scholar who started a global campaign for paid period (menstrual) leave and quit her HR job during her endeavour.
She is the first woman to raise this issue for working women at the United Nations.
She has played a key role in the implementation of paid menstrual leave in Indian states of Odisha and Karnataka.
The book describes her journey as a changemaker advocating for menstrual leave and urges readers to consider a better future for all working women.
