Car catches fire after hitting electric scooter

Puri(04/08/2024): A car caught fire after hitting an electric scooter while trying to save a stray bull.

The incident took place at Bahabaja Chhak under Gada Sanput panchayat in Kanas block of Puri district on Sunday. The car veered off the road after collision with an electric scooter.

The mishap occurred after the car driver took a sharp turn to save a stray bull on the road. Following the collision, the car and the electric scooter veered off the road.

Within some time, the car caught fire. No casuality has been reported in the accident.

Fire Services personnel from Pipili reached the spot and doused the flames.

Four people including the electric scooter rider and the occupants of the car sustained minor injuries.
