Rs 21500 fined imposed after seven boys found riding a scooter

Sambalpur (By Abhishek Mohanty): As many as seven boys, six of them minors, were found riding a scooter in Dhanupali area of Sambalpur district on Sunday night. The incident came to the fore after a video of the group riding the scooter dangerously and shouting abuses went viral on social media.
The scooter was tracked down using CCTV footage by a joint team of Dhanupali and Khetrajpur police stations. The boys were detained and the vehicle seized.
A fine of Rs 21,500 was imposed on the owner of the two-wheeler.
