20 criminals arrested, 8 guns seized in Ganjam

Berhampur (By Abhishek Mohanty): In a major crackdown on criminals, the Ganjam Police arrested 20 notorious criminals and seized 8 country-made firearms along with 31 live bullets.
Southern Range IG Niti Shekhar informed that the arrested persons were involved in multiple crimes across different parts of Ganjam district. Some of them were absconding after their involvement in murder cases. 

On May 4, Ganjam Police had apprehended 18 criminals and seized 17 country-made guns along with 67 rounds of ammunition from their possession.
The special drive against criminals will continue in the district, the IG stated.
