Anmol Dash shines at State-Level Pickleball Tournament, clinches Double Victory

In a thrilling display of skill, speed, and sportsmanship, the All Odisha Pickleball Association successfully hosted a one-day pickleball championship on Sunday at Highway Honda – SS Pickleball Academy, Bhubaneswar. The tournament witnessed participation from 25 teams across Odisha, battling it out in two competitive categories – Men’s Open Doubles and Mixed Doubles.

Emerging as the undisputed star of the tournament, Anmol Dash clinched victories in both categories. Alongside Yashraj Nayak, he claimed the top spot in the Men’s Open Doubles category, showcasing strategic coordination and powerful gameplay. In the Mixed Doubles segment, Anmol paired with Prasidhi Poddar, and the duo's synergy and finesse on the court led them to a well-deserved win.

The winners were felicitated with medals by the organizing committee, who praised the dedication and rising talent in Odisha’s pickleball scene.

The event not only highlighted the growing popularity of pickleball in the state but also emphasized the role of platforms like the SS Pickleball Academy in nurturing grassroots talent. The organizers expressed their commitment to continue promoting the sport and conducting more such state-level tournaments in the future.
