Anchalika Atal Smruti Parishad observed the death anniversary and declared to establish a full-body statue of Atalji in his GP

Balasore,Sadar block, under Genguti Gram Panchayat, palaspur village the 'Anchalika Atalji Smruti Parishad' observed the death anniversary of Bharat Ratna Atal Bihari Vajpayee, a former Prime Minister of India, a great leader, and a distinguished poet. The observance was held on August 16, 2025, in the evening at 7:00 PM in the premises of the office of 'Abhyudayam,' a leading social organization of Genguti Gram Panchayat. The memorial meeting was held under the chairmanship of Birupakshya Mohapatra, the former Sarpanch of Genguti Panchayat. At the meeting, Sabyasachi Pradhan, the chief of Abhyudayam, proposed registering a 'Smruti Parishad' in memory of Bharat Ratna Atalji and spoke about establishing a full-body statue of the great leader. The attendees who are admirers of Atalji happily accepted the proposal and decided to establish the statue on Atalji's 101st birth anniversary. Welcoming this initiative, Jaladhar Samal, the president of the Puratan Bidyarthi Parisada , Anchalika High School, Saun, said, "Through people's participation, Atalji's ideals and policies will spread far and wide, inspiring the talents of rural areas, helping in shaping their future and character." Mr. Mohapatra invited all sections of people inspired by Atalji's policies, ideals, and personality to join the 'Anchalika Atal Smruti Parishad' as much as possible. In the second phase, an 'Atalji Digital Library' will be established. In the meeting, attendees including poet Sudhakar Sethi, social worker Bhagabat Behera, Pitambar Mohapatra, Prasanna Parida, Puranjay Senapati, Naba Kumar Nayak, Ajay Nayak, Ramchandra Mohanti, Satyanarayan Acharya, Chinmay Pradhan, Jitendra Mohapatra, Dipan Chandra Das, Babuli Das, Ratiranjan Acharya, Subhradeep Mohanti, and among the youth, Subhranshu Rout, Muktikanta Pal, Jayashree Rout, Lucky Samal, and Jyotishree Behera were present and gave their thoughtful opinions.
