Bada Osha at Dhabaleswar Temple on November 3

Athagarh (By Abhishek Mohanty): The annual Bada Osha festival will be observed at the Dhabaleswar Temple in Athagarh, Cuttack district, on November 3. 

On November 4, the traditional offering of Gajabhoga will be made in the morning.

On November 5, Kartik Purnima will be celebrated with the boat-floating ritual known as Danga Bhasa in Odia language. 

The Kartik Brata will be observed from October 8 to November 5, while the sacred Panchaka Brata will be observed from November 1 to 5.

These decisions were taken at a preparatory meeting held at the Dhabaleswar shrine.
