FOUR DRUG PEDDLERS NABBED FOR ATTACKING POLICE SI DURING RAID ON BHUBANESWAR OUTSKIRTS

Bhubaneswar(18/08/2023) : A Sub Inspector of Dhauli Police Station sustained injuries in an attack allegedly by drug peddlers during a raid at Sisupalgarh area on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar. Four accused persons have been nabbed in this connection for questioning. According to reports, a police team led by Dhauli police station Sub Inspector Santosh Bal had conducted a raid based on the information on illegal drug trade at Sisupalgarh village late on Friday night.

During the raid, some drug peddlers suddenly attacked the police officer.

He sustained critical injuries on his head. The SI was rushed to Capital Hospital for treatment.
