ICSI INKS MOU WITH AMITY UNIVERSITY KOLKATA
Bhubaneswar (07/05/2024): The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Amity University, Kolkata under the ICSI Academic Collaboration Initiative. The objective of the MOU is to facilitate a comprehensive partnership for imparting knowledge and skills in the areas of Joint Academic Research, Joint Workshops and Professional Development Programme for students and academicians of both the Institutes.
CS B Narasimhan, President, The ICSI and Dr Amrita Saha, Registrar, Amity University signed the MoU on behalf of the Institute and the University respectively, in the presence of CS Dhananjay Shukla, Vice President, The ICSI, Dr Sanjay Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Amity University and CS Asish Mohan, Secretary, The ICSI.
Emphasising on the need of such collaboration, CS B Narasimhan, President ICSI, said that “The MoU will help in developing well qualified professionals through capacity building and research based collaborative programmes in the areas of compliance, securities markets, law and governance”.
Dr.
Sanjay Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Amity University, expressed his delight in being a part of this endeavour and talked about how this partnership between the two institutes will go a long way in leveraging opportunities arising out of cross-institutional relevance.
