World Entrepreneurship Day Inspires Young Innovators at Fakir Mohan University

Balasore, 21/8(Krushna Kumar Mohanty) Fakir Mohan University came alive with an entrepreneurial spirit as it celebrated World Entrepreneurship Day with thought-provoking sessions, real-life success stories, and recognition of budding innovators.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Santosh Kumar Tripathy has presided over the meeting and urged students to think differently, embrace innovation, and turn challenges into opportunities, encouraging them to shape their own success stories as entrepreneurs.
The guest speaker, Dr. Nina Singh, Managing Partner of TISYA Agri Venture LLP, drew from her experience in agribusiness to remind students that sustainability and positive social impact must remain at the heart of entrepreneurship
Adding a spark of inspiration, Mr. Gadadhar Sahu, Founder & Director of Surze Power Crafts Pvt. Ltd. shared his dynamic journey in the electric vehicle sector, urging students to be bold, be creative, and never fear to begin with a focused goal.

The celebration also witnessed the much-awaited Innovation & Startup Competition 2025 (Inter-departmental), organized by FMU-TBI with the support of DHE, Govt. of Odisha. The competition saw enthusiastic participation across departments, reflecting the rich culture of innovation within the university.

2nd Prize – Mr. Puranjay Sahu, Distance MA in Education
3rd Prize – Mr. Dinesh Bhairav Dwibedy, MBA Department
All participants were appreciated for their creativity, passion, and commitment to problem-solving through innovation.
The program was coordinated by Mr. Sunendu Nayak, COO,FMU-TBI with a thanksgiving note at the end.
Prof Pankaj Kumar Parhi, Coordinator-FMU-TBI, welcomed the dignitaries with a note that, the day concluded with a sense of optimism and determination, as the words of the dignitaries and achievers ignited a collective resolve among students to dream big, start small, and scale fast. Fakir Mohan University, through its incubation ecosystem, reaffirmed its role as a launchpad for the next generation of entrepreneurs.
