Moonlit Memories
Poem
Sanjay Bhatt
I am like this, the moon of the sky,
A quiet glow, untouchable love, up high.
Never did I dream, nor dared to foresee,
A full moon night when you'd come to me.
All night long, bathed in memories’ streams,
Whispering echoes of forgotten dreams.
A promise you made, a vow so divine,
Now etched in the stars, forever mine.
On a new moon's eve, in the storm’s fierce sway,
A house of dreams broke, then rebuilt its way.
Bearing the shame, the guilt, the scars,
Yet painting stories beneath these stars.
Each tale we lived, a stroke of art,
Etched forever in a fragile heart.
For though the past may drift away,
Its essence lingers, come what may.
The night remembers, the moon knows too,
The love untouchable, yet deeply true.
