Nine labourers critical after pickup van hits roadside tree

Boudh(16/09/2024): At least nine labourers sustained critical injuries after the pickup van in which they were travelling hit a roadside tree near Burpata Chhak under Boudh police station in Boudh district on Monday. According to reports, the driver of the van lost balance after hitting a pedestrian.

The van rammed into a roadside tree and overturned into an agricultural field. The vehicle carrying labourers was heading towards Sonepur for carrying out some electrical works.

The injured persons were rushed to the district headquarters hospital.
