Mock drill conducted in Puri ahead of Rath Yatra

Puri(By Abhishek Mohanty): A mock drill was conducted at the Grand Road (Bada Danda) in Puri by the district administration and police to evaluate the efficiency of providing medical aid to devotees during world famous Rath Yatra.

The objective of the exercise was to ensure better coordination among the police, temple administration, health personnel, fire services personnel and rescue teams during potential emergencies and fire incidents during chariot pulling.

Police, fire services, NDRF, NCC, Scouts and Guides, students participated in the mock drill.
