Bhubaneswar records season's highest temperature

Bhubaneswar has recorded the highest temperature of this season, reaching 40.4 degrees Celsius at 2:30 PM, breaking the previous record of 40.2 degrees Celsius on April 28.
Other cities in Odisha have also reported high temperatures.
Today, the temperature in Sambalpur was 43 degrees Celsius.
In Hirakud, the temperature recorded was 40.4 degrees Celsius.
While Rourkela recorded 40 degrees Celsius,
Chandbali registered 39.2 degrees Celsius.
Similarly, Balasore and Jharsuguda recorded 38.2 degrees Celsius and 37.6 degrees Celsius, respectively.
The India Meteorological Department's Bhubaneswar Regional Centre has predicted that Odisha is likely to experience unbearable heat with humidity until May 19, with coastal districts expected to face more humidity.
