Fortis Chemicals & CSIR-CRRI sign licensing agreement for Pothole Repair Technology

Fortis Chemicals Pvt. Ltd. has signed a Technology Licensing Agreement with CSIR–Central Road Research Institute (CSIR-CRRI) for the innovative “Two-Pack On-Site Pothole Filling Mix” at the CSIR Science Centre, New Delhi.
The agreement was signed in the presence of Dr. N. Kalaiselvi, Director-General, CSIR & Secretary, DSIR; Prof. Manoranjan Parida, Director, CSIR-CRRI; and Dr. Siksha Swaroopa Kar, Senior Principal Scientist, CSIR-CRRI.
The patented, emulsion-based, solvent-free cold-mix technology enables quick, durable, and eco-friendly pothole repairs, significantly reducing carbon emissions compared to conventional hot-mix methods. Fortis Chemicals has been granted exclusive rights to manufacture and market the technology across India.
Fortis Chemicals also participated in the 84th Indian Roads Congress (IRC) Annual Session held in Bhubaneswar, Odisha, which was visited by Nitin Gadkari, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways, who announced Rs 1,000 crore road projects for Odisha.
The collaboration is expected to promote sustainable and cost-effective road maintenance, contributing to safer and more durable road infrastructure across the country.
