OCSA of India stated cold storage warehousing is need of the hour at B-School Forum 5th National Management Week Conclave

Bhubaneswar(25/02/2025): On the occassion of B-School Forum 5th National Management Week Conclave 2025, Janardhan Sahoo talked on the key opportunities in the cold storage warehousing challenges and opportunities in Odisha with the presence of management professionals, faculty members, students and other delegates at the Government Autonomous College, Angul. The Cabinet okayed Rs 252 crore package for new cold storages, revival of distressed units across Odisha. To tide over the scarcity of essential commodities like potato and prevent distress sale of harvested crops, the Odisha government on Wednesday came up with a scheme to encourage private entrepreneurs to set up at least one cold storage in each of the 58 sub-divisions of the state. Every block in the state will have at least one cold storage.

This was informed by Food Supplies Minister Krushna Chandra Patra.

The program was concluded with the releasing of B-SCHOOL BUSINESS REVIEW, BBR Report and was coordinated by the faculty member Prof Biswajit of Department of Professional Studies, Angul Autonomous College.
