Prof Biswa Mohan Jena awarded with Nagar Bandhu Samman

Bhubneswar (31/08/2024): Prof Biswa Mohan Jena of CHSE, Odisha has been awarded with Nagar Bandhu Samman by the Bhubneswar Municipal Corporation (BMC) on Local Self Governance Day. Dr Krushna Chandra Mahapatra Cabinet Minister,Department of Housing & Urban Development, Odisha Government was the chief Guest. MP Aparajita Sarangi graced the occasion as guest of honour. Others guests were Mayor Sulochana Das, BMC Commissioner Rajesh Patil and others.

Out of 6 awards, 3 were given to individuals and 3 were presented to institutions. NSS Bureau,CHSE has been chosen for the Nagar Bandhu Samman for different environment oriented programmes like Haathi Mera Saathi, climate change awareness, plantation, energy conservation and solid waste management .
