Several districts of Odisha to experience scorching heat over next four days

Bhubaneswar: Several districts of Odisha are likely to experience scorching heat over next four days.

According to the Bhubaneswar Meteorological Centre of India Meteorological Department, a severe heatwave is expected to prevail at one or two places in Jharsuguda district. Heatwave conditions are also likely in isolated places of Boudh, Balangir, Sundargarh, Sambalpur, Nuapada, Angul, Bargarh, Kalahandi, Deogarh and Sonepur districts.
Hot and humid conditions are expected at isolated places in Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara,  Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khordha, Nayagarh, Ganjam, Gajapati, Keonjhar and Dhenkanal districts.
Keeping the above weather conditions in view, the state government has already issued notification for closure of all government and private educational institutions from today till further notice.
