STUDENT FOUND HANGING IN HOSTEL ROOM OF IISER
Berhampur(07/10/2023): A student was found hanging in his hostel room at Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) on the outskirts of Berhampur in Ganjam district. The deceased has been identified as Satya Makar Murmu from Dumadihi village in Balasore district.
He was a first year BSc-MSc Integrated student and had joined the institute a few days back. His body was spotted by a few hostel inmates. After receiving information, police reached the spot and sent the body for post mortem.
