Success of NRIs is matter of pride for the country: President
Bhubaneswar(10/01/2025): President Droupadi Murmu on Friday said that the success of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) is a matter of pride for the country.
She was addressing the closing ceremony of the Pravasi Bharatiya Divas Convention at the Janata Maidan in Bhubaneswar. Stating that India is moving forward on the path of development, the President said, "NRIs are representing the country worldwide and have made a mark in various fields.
Despite being far from the country, they remain connected to their roots." The President honoured 27 NRIs for their outstanding contributions in various fields.
